  1. As a teacher, I find this to be completely inappropriate. Why transform yet another generation into socially inept technogeeks who can’t truly read or write in a traditional sense? Dumping more gadgets into the laps of young people is not going to make them better students, citizens, or creative individuals.

Let’s be honest, it’s about under-40 trophy children who became teachers wishing to remake children in their own faulty image. Someday, you’ll learn there’s more to life than pecking away at a keyboard, playing video games, or yakking into a phone.

And please, stop offering the conceit that you care about children. You care about supporting the bottom line profits of Silicon Valley companies.

I find it facinating that someone so opposed to 21st century tools took the time to follow a link, subscribe to an RSS feed, or do a search to watch this video. Why would you waste your time viewing such a thing when you have clearly made up your mind that technology is the root of all that is evil and wrong with education today? It boggles the mind.
